Pop Tarts Rebranding | Brand Identity

POP TARTS X POP ART Pop-tarts are nostalgic snacks that most people, especially in Western culture, have tried or heard of. But only a few enjoy Pop-tarts nowadays. Also, I found it fascinating that the name "Pop Tarts" has derived from the Pop Art movement. I emphasized Pop-tart's playfulness using visual elements from the Pop Art Movement, such as bright colors, bold gothic and handwritten typeface, with additional graphic elements, wishing Pop-tarts could face its golden era again.

Kaboom Rebranding  | Brand Identity

Kaboom is a non-profit organization that builds playgrounds for children, but there’s more than that. It allows children to dream and brings joy to their family, neighborhood, and, ultimately, their entire community. The community participates in the building process by funding 10% of the cost of the building, and the children get to speak/ draw about their preferences. I wanted to portray a strong relationship within the community by using organic lines in the style of kid’s drawing. Vibrant colors and bold and flexible types break the typical NPO stereotypes and make others believe NPO can be fun!

Coexistence: Human Intelligence & Artificial Intelligence | Editorial Design

This book comprises two opposing views on Human and AI's coexistence. It is divided into two sections. On the left side are collected positive responses from various participants from an article from Pew Research Center. On the right, Chat GPT makes opposing arguments on each reply by erasing participants' responses. Most of the images are generated by AI as well. Though I wished the audience to have their thoughts on this evolving issue of AI, I still wanted to warn them about how quickly AI is growing and becoming human-like.

Noguchi Museum Rebranding  | Brand Identity
40th Anniversary Campaign

The Noguchi Museum, Located in LIC, Queens, was built by Isamu Noguchi, well-known for his mesmerizing sculptures. A line is a basic form to create a sculpture. Because from line to line, one dimension could expand to three dimensions. Therefore, my design system consists of flexible lines that can be easily stretched and shrunken. For the 40th anniversary, I created a campaign dedicated to Isamu Noguchi’s famous Akari lights. By emphasizing line, the line represents beaming lights, telling the directions, or connecting one another.
